Learn about fire & life safety from Kasey at the Koorsen Fire & Security Booth at Celebrate Science Indiana on Saturday, October 1

We are excited to have Koorsen Fire & Security at Celebrate Science Indiana this year. They have been the sponsor of the Kasey Program since 1998. Kasey

The Kasey Program teaches children fire & life safety skills by using Kasey, a black Labrador retriever, to perform stop, drop & roll, checking the door to see if it’s hot, knowing two ways out, etc. The program is geared for children preschool through 6th grade. The Kasey Program is proud to be the only full time, nationally touring, fire prevention program in the country.

The Kasey Program was started in 1995 by Jeff Owens as a way to teach children about fire & life safety. Jeff has been a career firefighter/paramedic for nearly 30 years and felt a strong desire to have a positive impact on teaching our children their fire & life safety skills.

Come to Celebrate Science Indiana at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in the Elements Blue Ribbon Pavilion on Saturday, October 1 and learn fire and life safety skills from Kasey at the Koorsen Fire & Security booth.
